First let me say….we have been to many celebrations and parades throughout Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin. It was a very nice surprise to see such a nice turnout and quality parade in the little community of Hilbert, WI. Their 2016 4th of July Parade was not only a quality parade, but it was also planned out very well and ran smooth. People came from as far away as 50 miles (that we know of) and the sidewalks were full. The floats were good, the classic and new cars were cool, and the bands were amazing! Did we mention the candy? There was more candy than any child would need, and we even witnessed some freeze pops!
We would not hesitate to recommend this parade next year to anyone that is looking for a good place to enjoy a 4th of July Parade. Way to go Hilbert!
