It was a beautiful night for the first of the Live on King Street Series with a band called tUnE-yArDs. Marking the start of the third annual series of concerts that are held on select Fridays on King Street outside the Majestic Theatre, this concert was rumored to be the most attended of all previous Live on King Street events. And, with the big names coming up this year, it is possible to break that record again and again.
The upcoming schedule can be found on the Live on King Street website, but here is a brief overview:
July 25th: famed alternative band by the name of Cracker
August 2nd: the world famous Ziggy Marley
August 22nd: the folk-rockers Deer Tick
September 19th: the up-and-coming folk stars, The Head and the Heart
Join all these artists on King Street for a free night of music.
